How To Play

Welcome to The Ticket Store Game online game!

Play starts by becoming a member. We have a number of membership options. You can start the process by clicking the play now link above. When you have selected which plan is right for you, a screen will appear that says "Create your Ticket Master account." The Ticket Master is the adult who will control the account. Complete the information on that form and make sure you review the terms of service and check the box agreeing to the terms of service. Then click Create User.

You will then be taken to a screen to enable you to create a new user. On that screen, you can select a standard avatar for the player from a screen containing a number of selections. Players will be able to change their avatars from the Avatar page found on the Player section of the game. Depending on the plan you have selected, you may be able to add multiple players.

The concept of the game is very straight forward. Ticket Masters identify tasks for their children to perform. If the child performs the task when asked the first time, or without having to be asked, the child is awarded three tickets. If a child has to be asked twice, the child is awarded two tickets. If a child has to be asked a third time, the child will not be awarded any tickets. Tickets are held by the child in that child's bank. Children select rewards that they would like to play for (subject to the Ticket Masters approval), and use their ticket to "buy" the rewards. Rewards are represented by rewards cards but the rewards are provided by the Ticket Master. The game can be played as a competition, that is with multiple players who are competing for first, second, third and fourth prizes displayed on the Ticket Store game board, or as in individual game, in which all of the rewards on the Ticket Store game board are selected by the individual player. Each player will also have a Bonus Board game, in which the player moves around the Bonus Board for opportunities to land on one of a number of great locations, such as Community Service, the Library, the School and others, where they can do activities to earn bonus tickets. The online interactive Ticket Store Game has both a Ticket Master control side and a player side.

The Ticket Master control side of The Ticket Store Game, includes the following pages:

Home page, which provides control for "opening" and "closing" competition and individual game boards, viewing individual and competition game boards and selecting rewards to go on the Ticket Store game board. The Home page also includes navigation tools to go over to the player side of the game.

Add a Player page, which allows for the Ticket Master to provide information to add a player (subject to limitations on the type of membership).

View Players page, which allows a quick view of each player and their registration information. This page allows the Ticket Master to edit or delete the players information.

Tasks page, which allows the Ticket Master to add tasks to each players open task list. Tasks can be selected from suggested categories, can be modified once selected and can be added to a favorites list. Original tasks can also be created. Once tasks have been performed by the child, the Ticket Master can mark the task completed and process the request to award tickets from the Tasks page. Players can also mark tasks as completed from the players side of the game, however, the Ticket Master will have to approve any request for tickets from the Tasks page. Complete instructions on processing selecting tasks and processing requests for tickets are available on the Tasks page by moving your cursor over the ? icon on the page.

Password page, which allows the Ticket Master to change his or her password.

Game Board page, which shows the Ticket Masters competition board. Note that a Ticket Master can view a players individual board by going to the Ticket Master Home page and selecting the View tab after selecting the players name. Once on the players individual game board, the Ticket Master can adjust the number of tickets required to claim a reward by moving the cursor over the reward, and changing the number of tickets required in the pop up box.

The player side of the game includes the following pages:

Home page, which includes a Player Panel containing information on player stats and access to the players individual Ticket Store game board as well as the Ticket Masters competition board. The Player Panel follows the player to the other player pages. The Home page also contains the Bonus Board, which allows a player to navigate to other pages represented on the Bonus Board. The Bonus Board is also a game board on which players advance their player the number of spaces indicated by the spinner, and if the player lands on certain locations, the player can go to the location and do the activity at the location to receive a bonus ticket. Activities include acts of kindness and community service, reading activities from the online library, fun school assignments from the online school page and even playing online games. Players also receive two bonus tickets for reaching the Ticket Store at the end of the game. Bonus tickets are also subject to approval by the Ticket Master.

Bank page, which allows the player to make deposits of the tickets earned, and shows the player the number of tickets pending approval for deposit, the number of tickets awarded but not yet transferred, the number of tickets available to purchase rewards, and the number of tickets in total that have been used to purchase rewards.

Rewards page, which includes pre-printed rewards cards, custom cards, charity cards and cards for Amazon products. The cards are selected by the player (with the help of the Ticket Master) and added to the Ticket Store game board by clicking on the reward card. Rewards cards are added to each floor of the Ticket Store game board. Cards can be removed from the Ticket Store game board by clicking on the rewards card that has been placed on the floor. The rewards cards have a pre-determined number of tickets that are required in order to "buy" the reward. Note:The number of tickets required to "buy" the reward can be changed by the Ticket Master by going to the Ticket Master Home page and clicking View ______'s Game Board. When on the child's game board, move the cursor over the reward card, and a pop up box will appear that will permit the Ticket Master to modify the number of tickets required for a player to "buy" the reward.

Tasks page, which shows the player the open tasks that the child has to perform, and the tasks pending approval, which are tasks that the child has completed and which the Ticket Master will review for approval and issuance of tickets. When a task has been completed, the player can check the completed box, which will send the task to the pending approval box, and to the Ticket Master for approval.

Messages page, which has messages from the Ticket Master which are sent when tickets are awarded. Standard messages are generated based upon the number of tickets earned. The Ticket Master can also write personalized messages to the player. The Messages page also has a link to the Invite a Friend feature, which allows players to invite friends to play the Ticket Store Game.

Avatar page, on which we have included an opportunity for players to change their avatar using an avatar maker from the world wide web. Custom avatars can be made using thousands of combinations available from the avatar maker. Images must be created and then downloaded on your computer and then uploaded to the game. Instructions on the process are on the Avatar page.

Ticket Store Game Boards are accessed by the player from the Player Panel by clicking the Open sign for the particular game board. If the Ticket Master has "closed" the store due to bad behavior, the Open sign will not be lit and will not permit access to the store until the store is "reopened" by the Ticket Master.
